Test: EI30 fire-resistant facade with 0-joint

Our new EI30 fire-resistant glass wall with 33 mm profile was tested today. This wall is an extension of the IQ Protect range that also consists of fire, smoke, and impact-resistant glass walls. As expected, the glass facade passed the test with flying colours and is now officially certified.

This fire-resistant facade is unique in several ways. Firstly because it doesn’t require a vertical support, so one can create a full glass wall where EI30 classification is required. Secondly, the wall is remarkable because it has a ground and ceiling profile of just 33 mm height so it seamlessly fits with all other QbiQ modular walls that also all have a 33 mm profile.
