QbiQ Wall Systems is taking part in the Circular Expo at Building Holland!
QbiQ Wall Systems is taking part in the largest travelling collection of circular products in Europe. The next stop is Building Holland. In the ´Buildings As Materials Banks´installation, developed by EPEA Nederland, visitors experience how buildings can serve as material banks, in an interactive way. The installation consists of more than 70 products that are each circular, demountable and recyclable. The visitor can ‘scan’ the products and read the Materials Passports of these product directly on his own smartphone. Go to www.epea.nl/rems for video, photos and the itinerary of the exhibition!
The European Buildings As Materials Banks (www.bamb2020.eu) project develops tools to convert the construction industry from traditionally linear to innovative circular. Two tools are central here: Reversible Building Design and Materials Passports.
Reversible Building Design focuses on designing buildings for adaptability during use, and reusability after use.
Materials Passports form the essential platform to enable this reuse by making crucial information available about, for instance, the composition, take-back systems and (de)installation instructions.
Visit the´Buildings As Materials Banks´exhibition at stand 11.084 of the RAI at Building Holland and you are welcome at one of the organised tours and/or the presentations of Ernst-Jan Mul (Wed 18 April 12:25 – 12:45 pm, Inspirante stage) and Elma Durmisevic (Wed 18 April 1:05 – 1:25 pm, Nexus stage).
