The Huis van Leusden project was commissioned by the Municipality of Leusden, Larikslaan, and Voila, in close consultation with architect firm DP6 and Wildenberg interior architecture. This project concerns the new construction of a sustainable municipality building for, among other things, the housing of the Municipality of Leusden, offices spaces of welfare organisation Larikslaan2, and Scholenkoepel Voila, a café/restaurant with approximately 21 private apartments on the higher floors, and approximately 50 apartments for persons with mental disabilities.
QbiQ systems walls and fire-resistant façades have been used in the Huis van Leusden project. This fully transparent IQ Protect Hightech fire-resistant façade has an EI60 certificate, and a visible surrounding profile height of only 33 mm. These steel profiles, developed by QbiQ, are a perfect match for the 0-minute walls with aluminium QbiQ profile in aesthetic terms.
